Greg Smith
Greg Smith has owned Four Rivers Fishing Company, a 50 year old institution in the Ruby Valley, for 11 years. After 11 years of fishing Montana waters, Greg sold his contracting business and moved from Colorado to follow his dream of guiding and owning a fly shop in the heart of Montana’s best fishing. After many reconnaissance missions, Greg realized that it doesn’t get any better than Twin Bridges, MT. This town of 400 people sits at the confluence of the Ruby, Big Hole, and Beaverhead rivers, forming the headwaters of the Jefferson. And the Madison River is 30 minutes away.Robin Saxon
Robin Saxon, after years of bass fishing, discovered fly fishing in Montana 19 years ago. Every year for 16 years meant a trip in August to Montana in search of trout. Robin finally made the move to Montana 3 years ago leaving behind her legal/lobbying practice in Nashville to pursue her dream of living and fishing in Montana’s unspoiled territory. |
It could only have been fate that brought Greg and Robin together and now they share their passion of fly fishing, their lives and Four Rivers Fishing Company! When they are not fishing in Montana, they might be found steelhead fishing in BC, bone fishing in Mexico, or pheasant hunting in South Dakota, where Greg has guided for 6 seasons. Greg and Robin live on the Jefferson River at their ranch, the Jefferson River Camp. |
