Its the beginning of June, and there is snow in the mountains and the rivers are looking great. With the way things are looking around here runoff, has been taking its time getting down the hills. Though the rivers have been going up and down with the finicky Montana spring, it has left the rivers with enough water clarity to manage a great day on the water. Frank, George (my dog), and I went out yesterday, unfortunately the dink game was slow, the dinks we did get to go we couldn’t get to the net, and others just plain wouldn’t, or couldnt get the streamer in their mouth….bummer. Well, as for the big fish we landed a handful over 20 and a few in the 18 range, if your into that kind of thing. Well folks apparently my coffee sucks, so I need to deal with that.
