Our Guides

All you have to do is take one good long look at the cast of characters below to know you will be fishing with the best group of guides in Montana.  Four Rivers Fishing Co. prides itself on maintaining its professional staff of guides year after year.  The guides of Four Rivers Fishing Co. are concerned with all aspects of your guided fishing trip.

From the time you walk through the front door your first morning to your last truck ride back in to town from the river, we will make sure that your fishing trip will be a memorable one for years to come.  That is why we like to say around here “We don’t have clients we have friends”.  The Four Rivers guides sleep, breath and live fishing.  All of our guides live right here in the Twin Bridges area and have fished on our local waters extensively.  Unlike other operations in our area that import their guides from other states for the summer, we all work, play and fish right here in Twin Bridges.  What does this mean to you?  You will be guaranteed that your guide has fished over every inch of water that you will be fishing during your trip.  Our goal as professional guides is to make sure that when you leave Twin Bridges you never forget about us and come back year after year.  We want a friend, not just a repeat customer.

Art was born in New Zealand and grew up in Wisconsin. His fly-fishing addiction started at the age of 13 and quickly grew into an obsession. As soon as he could, Art headed west to Montana and never looked back. Guiding took him all over from Alaska to South America, however, he fell in love with Twin Bridges and the Montana way of life.

He settled down here with his wife, Kara, and is a proud father to daughters Lexi and Lily. Art has been with 4 Rivers for 9 years now. If Art’s not fishing or on daddy duty, he’s probably hunched over his vise wrapping up some bugs. In the off season, he ran his own fly-tying business for a number of years. Now you can find him down at Winston building the next generation of fly rods. Art eats, sleeps, and breathes fishing. With his extensive experience and knowledge of the local waters, we’re certain your time with Art will be memorable and second to none.

Brock was born and raised in Waterloo, Montana just 20 minutes from Twin Bridges. He’s been fishing and hunting around this valley his entire life.

After attending MSU in Bozeman and spending his summers as a fire fighter, Brock came back to his love for fishing.  He’s always attentive to the clients, his passion is unwavering and he’s just downright fishy.  Spending a day in the boat with Brock is a good way to polish your game while catching fish!
