Fishing up and down the Big Hole and Jefferson rivers has been decent to great as of late. While the Jefferson typically takes a bit longer to come into shape, it is fishable. The entire Big Hole River from the top to the bottom is fishing extremely well. Skwala stoneflies have made their appearance and the fish are taking notice to them. If you are looking to throw dries, the afternoon hours have been much more productive as both the water and air temperatures are much warmer than early in the day. The Madison River is also fishing very consistent, and is mainly a nymphing game this time of the year.
